Knee Pain

Knee pain can come from structures inside the knee such as the ACL, PCL, or  meniscus, or it can be coming from outside the joint due to problems with the MCL, LCL, tibia-fibula ligament, patellar tendon, IT band, bursas, popliteus muscle, or patella cartilage. Even things away from the knee that may not be readily associated with knee pain could also be the culprit such as hip joint problems, low back nerve injuries, or ankle/ foot problems. Any misalignments in the bones of your knee puts abnormal strains on the ligaments and tendons eventually resulting in pain.
