Shoulder Pain

Pain in your shoulder can come from any of the four rotator cuff muscles, the joint capsule, the acromioclavicular (AC) joint, the glenohumoral joint, or the bursa’s. This pain can result from different degrees of sprains, strains, tears, tendonitis, bursitis, impingements, or misalignments. Because there are so many possibilities that may be causing your shoulder pain,  you need an expert who can determine the actual cause, has the skills to treat it effectively, and the experience to know when other interventions may be needed.

Dr. Williams is Blount county’s only Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician,  receiving his national board certification from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians in 1994. In addition to his degree, he has completed hundreds of hours of specialty training in extremity adjusting as a part of his post graduate continuing education. So if you have just started to experience shoulder pain, or even if it has been going on for a long time, an evaluation by Dr. Williams may offer you the answers you seek.
